Resumption

Oregon State University is preparing to gradually return to in-person classes and activities at its Corvallis and Bend campuses, pending state approval. Remote learning will continue during the transition, with employees returning to worksites as campuses reopen. Safety remains the top priority, and all in-person activities will include physical distancing and flexibility to adjust as conditions evolve.

The university’s Pandemic Resumption Plan was developed with guidance from state and local health officials. Each OSU location will reopen based on county readiness, which includes meeting requirements for testing, contact tracing, health care capacity, and protective equipment. The plan follows Oregon’s phased reopening framework, allowing each campus to adapt as conditions change.

To support this effort, Teochiu Design worked with stake holders in creating a campaign to build awareness and inspire pride in the OSU community — reminding us why we are Beavers and why we continue to achieve great things. Print collateral, digital graphics, and social media were used to inform the public about the university’s reopening plans and the measures in place to protect students, faculty, and staff.
