Built on a clear narrative, consistent tone, and compelling imagery, the visual system is unified, authentic, and unmistakably OSU.
Guided by the “OUT THERE” campaign, the design direction emphasizes exploration, discovery, and global responsibility. From the highest peaks to the deepest seas, resilient communities to cutting-edge labs, the imagery showcases the full breadth of OSU’s reach. The design leverages scale and contrast — pairing natural beauty with human ingenuity — while keeping inclusivity, service, and impact at its core.
Created for university-wide adoption, the campaign provides a flexible system for all colleges and departments. Under University Marketing, it was first introduced through admissions materials, including viewbooks, recruitment posters, flyers, invitations, brochures, and paid advertising, establishing a consistent and inspiring brand presence.
